It was announced earlier this month that Balmain will be ending its 5 year collaboration with head designer Christophe Decarnin. His punk rock, grunge, and edgy style filled with embellishments and a ton of strong shoulders made a huge statement in the fashion world. He undoubtedly increased popularity and awareness of the brand with his exquisite beading and intricate designs so his leave was a total surprise to all.
It is speculated that he is enrolled in a mental hospital but it's like they say... there is a fine line between genius and insanity.
