The Malia Mills Trunk Show Begins!

Finally! The weekend we've been waiting for has arrived...it's Malia Mills trunk show time! Come on down to Lille Boutique to meet Malia herself and see her fabulous swimwear line in person. We'll be partying at the shop until 9 pm tonight with champagne, sweets, and swimwear. Then, the personalized fittings with Malia will begin bright and early on Saturday at noon. Stop by on Saturday between 12pm and 6pm for an amazing, one of a kind shopping experience with Malia Mills and the Lille girls. The boutique is bursting with one piece and two piece swimsuits in a variety of colors, fabrics, and prints. In the words of Malia Mills, "Love thy differences!"


The Dionne Chiffon in Purple Parade. Gorgeous floral chiffon fabric one piece with ruched front and flattering, full coverage bottom.


 The Starlet in Periwinkle. A knockout suit with plunging neckline and straps that can be tied as a simple halter or around the waist.


The Damsel (available in a fun chocolate, orange, and purple floral print or a solid blue) with ruched front and halter strap.

Plus, tonight is our monthly First Friday art show, and we welcome you to see a collection of Sarah McNeil prints adorning the walls of Lille. Come on down to East Burnside!

Hope to see you all tomorrow for the opening reception of Ruth Shively's exhibit, “First Impressions,” an exploration of modern women from different cultures around the world. Shively was born and raised in Nebraska, where she received her Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She worked briefly as an illustrator in New York City and moved back and forth from Oregon to New York before settling in Portland. We love her depiction of powerful, independent women with a soft, vulnerable quality, and we think you will too!

Please join us this Friday for the Opening Reception of Valerie Joan Taylor's exhibition at Lille Boutique. Valerie's work is built on the unconscious ways people absorb their experiences and the environments around them. Valerie's images often deal with the idea of creating and collecting. Coupled with odd perspectives and awkward expressions these images can at times seem to unveil secrets. Through her drawings and paintings she acknowledges how life can be clumsy, and how it can also be intriguing and light-hearted. We will be kicking off our month-long Birthday Celebration in honor of our 4 years in business with Door Prizes, champagne cocktails, Secret Sales and more! You won't want to miss this....
