Real Life in Lingerie: Meet Annapurna!

I'd like to introduce our dear LIL readers to the newest member of the Lille family. This time I'm not talking about a brand or designer, but rather our new employee, Annapurna (pronounced ohn-ah-per-nah.) She's pictured above looking sweet and fabulous in a pair of Wolford Zarea tights in the awesome Chutney shade.  She loves Spicy Chai Tea, spending time with her family, fabulous lingerie (of course) and karaoke, where she does a mean rendition of anything by Heart, Fleetwood Mac or Nina Simone.  You'll be seeing a lot of Anna at upcoming Lille events, so be sure to welcome her!

I felt so privileged to have lunch with her in Paris last September and hear more about her beautiful line, which fits right in at Lille!  We are the very first store in the country to carry this collection, which is only available at a few boutiques worldwide and includes woven cotton underwire bras and matching knickers with embroidered flowers, silky contour bras with secret love messages and sexy lace demi-bras that flatter every figure. Her line is especially suited to smaller cups looking for a bit of lift, and ranges is size from 32A-34D, retailing at $65-165. Spring 2011 Araks

Our Spring shipment of Araks just arrived! Known for her sustainable and ethical business practices and super-stylish cotton/silk lingerie, Araks has been one of our favorite designers since the grand opening of Lille nearly 4 years ago.  We are so pleased to see that she has brought back some of our favorite styles like the comfy cotton Antonia bralette and Isabella panty pictured above in the fantastic Marigold shade. Another fan favorite is the pretty silk/cotton Giulia Cami, Yanelis Bralette and Liselott Panty, which would make the perfect bridal set in pristine white.  Of course, the popular Olga bralette from last season is back, as well as the famous patented cotton Y-thong. But she is also experimenting with some new styles and fabrics this year, like silk chiffon and grid gauze in navy, teal and a fantastic kelly green shade called "Fern."
